In its endeavor to promote corporate social responsibility, Oxfam Hong Kong has, since 2002, successfully nominated more than 300 international and local corporations and organisations to receive the Caring Company logo. Today at the Caring Company NGO Partnership Day 2011/12 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Oxfam was conferred the honour of 10 consecutive years nominator by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of its continuous contribution in cultivating corporate citizenship and facilitating partnership within the social service sector and among community organisations.

Without the support of our partnering companies and organisations, we would not have been able to develop diverse and sustainable programmes to help poor people work toward improving their lives. We thank our partners for staying the course with us over the years,“ said Ms Kanie Siu, Hong Kong Unit Director, Oxfam Hong Kong.

State Street Corporation, TNT Express Worldwide (HK) Ltd., Wing Hang Bank Limited, Dah Chong Hong Holdings Limited, Tai Shing Group (Holdings) Company Limited, China Unicom (Hong Kong) Operations Limited, Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Co. Ltd, Hong Kong Health Check & Medical Diagnostic Group Limited and Protrek Company Limited are among some of Oxfam’s partnering companies and organisations being recognised at the Caring Company NGO Partnership Day 2011/12.
